For grades 3 and up Join Ashley for her afterschool art program where young artists can unleash their creativity, explore different mediums, and connect with like-minded peers. This class is more than just learning a new technique; it helps develop self-expression and confidence, while fostering a lifelong appreciation for art.
February 3, 10, 17 - Cardboard Chompsaw Animals: Young artists will jump into a building adventure as they create their own cardboard animals using the new art room Chompsaws. They'll learn how to cut and shape cardboard safely, piece their creatures together, and add a bit of paint for color and personality.
March 3, 10, 17 - Carved Eraser Stamps: In this hands-on class, young artists will design and carve their own custom pink eraser. We'll learn how to create a tiny design, safely carve the eraser, and then use ink to make prints on paper.
This class is perfect for young artists who enjoy drawing, designing, and exploring new creative techniques. This class will use a carving, sharp tool - responsible participants only.
April 7, 14, 21 - Flower Weaving: Create bright, textured flowers using yarn, paper plates, and simple weaving techniques in this hands-on art class. Students will explore color, pattern, and texture while building fine motor skills and confidence with fiber art. Perfect for young artists who love crafting, creativity, and a finished piece they're proud to take home.
May 5, 12, 19 - Giant Candy Bars: In this 3D Giant Candy Bar art class, students will design and build oversized candy sculptures using cardboard, paint, paper and mixed media. Artists will explore form, proportion, and realistic details while turning everyday treats into eye-catching pop art. A fun, hands-on project that combines creativity, problem solving, and a big visual payoff.
Refund Policy
Full refunds will be given when CER cancels a class. If you cancel your registration BEFORE start date a refund for the class, less a $5 processing fee and any material costs incurred will be provided. No refunds will be given on or after the class/event start date.
Refunds will be made only under the following conditions:
1. If your class is filled to capacity before your registration is received.
2. If your class is cancelled by CER.

Registration Policy
Pre-registration with full payment is required, unless otherwise noted. Class sizes are limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Most registration deadlines are one week before the start of class. Decisions on whether to hold the class are made on the registration deadline date, so please register early!
