Info

FREE! Strengthen skills in math & communication skills, increase reading speed or comprehension, writing, learn to type, and learn how to balance a checkbook. Come and prepare for your General Educational Degree (GED), assess needs, and take GED pretests. Gain confidence in taking tests, completing job applications, prepare a resume and much more! These classes are free and are very informal. Adult learners develop personal learning goals with the instructor. Students then work on their own and at their own pace, using the teacher as their helper. Students are not required to stay for entire scheduled time but may come and go as desired.  GED distance learning options available.

ABE is a program that is available, free of charge, to all adults 17 and older, who are not enrolled in the K-12 school system. Learn English or prepare for the GED Exam.  Sponsored by CER and Southwest ABE Consortium. Contact the CER Office (507-235-3141) to learn more about improving your skills.
