For grades 3-6 Join Ashley for her afterschool art program where young artists can unleash their creativity, explore different mediums, and connect with like-minded peers. This class is more than just learning a new technique; it helps develop self-expression and confidence, while fostering a lifelong appreciation for art.
January 7, 14, & 21 - Open Paint Studio - where kids can use wood or canvas as their painting surfaces, with the freedom to choose their subject and style. This approach not only allows children to express their creativity but also help them develop artistic skills in a fun, supportive environment.
February 4, 11, & 18 - Paper Bag Book - Making a journal out of paper bags is a fun and eco-friendly project that allows students to repurpose materials while creating something both functional and unique. In this class students will learn how put together and bind their book and have the creative freedom of using scrapbooking paper, paint and stickers to make it their own.
March 4, 11, & 18 - Sweater Paws Workshop - Is a creative project for kids! Combining cardboard crafting with the fun of working with colorful yarn to create their own cute “kitty”. This class will engage their imagination and learn about textures, and basic weaving techniques. Whether they make striped sweaters, or fluffy coats, each kitty will be as unique as the student who made it!
